Species   Description
Alyogyne huegelii
Lilac Hibiscus
WA Native Fast growing rounded shrub to 2m. Soft foliage. Attractive single lilac flowers in spring and summer. Hardy. Most soils Frost tolerant.
Cerestium tomentosum
Snow In Summer
  Vigorous carpeting plant 15cm x 50-100cm. Masses of white flowers spring and summer. Any well-drained soil. Tolerates hot dry coastal sites.
Cistus brilliancy
Rock Rose
  Small shrub bearing masses of single rose pink flowers during spring and summer. Hardy. Grows well in any well-drained soil.
Dichondra repens   Creeping mat forming groundcover with small kidney shaped bright green leaves. Ideal lawn substitute for under trees or low traffic areas.
Lampranthus mauve
Pig Face or Ice Plant
  Carpeting succulent 15cm x 75cm with masses of brilliant mauve flowers over fleshy foliage. Very hardy plant growing in most sites.
Myoporum parvifolium
Creeping Boobialla
  Quick growing, tough, trailing groundcover 20cm x 1-2m with pretty white star shaped flowers over a long period.. Front line coastal.
Osteospermum purple
Purple African Daisy
  Long flowering groundcover with masses of fuchsia-purple daisy-like flowers with blue centres. Most soils. Tolerates drought and poor soils
Viola hederacea   Creeping Australian native violet. Flowers for long periods in spring and summer. Excellent groundcover for most positions.
Viola odorata
Sweet Violet
  Dainty, sweetly scented violet flowers late spring to early winter. Suit most garden soils in partial sun.
